Disciply Challenge on November 2: demo area, rules and verification status
Update dated November 2, 2026. The Disciply Trading Challenge presents a simulated trading challenge with pages for participation, account details, rules and a leaderboard. The pages are available, but their existence does not confirm that an official competition is open or that prizes can be awarded. This product update separates what you can explore from operational steps still requiring verification.
Pages available to explore
The landing page links to the personal area, the rules and leaderboard. Your personal area is where the current state of your own account should appear. Preview screens may display sample numbers: viewing a preview does not enter you into a competition or create credentials. The public entry points are https://disciply.it/trading-challenge and https://disciply.it/trading-challenge/my; private details require the correct signed-in identity.
This trading challenge is separate from the older /challenge referral page. Mixing the two journeys can cause confusion about requirements, ranking and rewards. Anyone looking for an MT5 demo test should begin at the Trading Challenge area and check the edition name shown there. A search result may lead to educational material, but the applicable status is the one displayed by the challenge at the time you visit.
A public test and a future competition
The software provides for an isolated public-test edition. In that mode, registration and demo assignment depend on a time window and provider configuration; measured data begin when the account is assigned. The test does not confirm a prize and does not automatically become the future official competition. The latter requires published dates, open registration, finalized rules and confirmed prizes. No date or award should be inferred from a promotional image.
The Challenge pages state that prizes are subject to final rules. This is a material limitation, not a footnote to hide. If the page says preparing or unavailable, we cannot promise an instantly issued account. An interested visitor can still learn the intended process, examine risk definitions and prepare precise questions ahead of any opening.
How MT5 data are intended to work
The architecture reuses Disciply's MT5 connection to read the challenge account and metrics. Assignment should check that a demo is new and matches the provider, currency, leverage and required conditions. A connection design does not mean the process has been certified end to end: the real broker, participant credentials and continuous collection must still be tested together. A bridge error or undelivered email is an issue to diagnose, not proof of a successful entry.
Equity includes open profit and loss, whereas balance records booked values. Loss rules therefore depend on observations over time. When a data interval is missing, an unobserved low cannot be invented. A leaderboard may remain provisional until snapshots and broker data have been reconciled. That distinction is necessary if a challenge aims to assess risk and discipline as well as final profit.
Useful preparation already available
The free prop challenge planner allows you to model a daily budget, drawdown, target and consistency under explicit assumptions. It is separate from the competition engine: it does not automatically read your account or certify compliance. The position size calculator helps compare sizes using contract specifications; check them against the broker.
Before exploring a trade idea, write down the largest intended loss for that position, total exposure if other positions are open, and what would invalidate the idea. Compare the plan with equity and the edition's actual limits. Do not turn a calculator output into an automatic order. Spread, commissions and slippage can make a live demo result differ from a simplified model.
Evidence needed before calling it fully operational
Real demo accounts and two separate identities are needed to verify registration, email confirmation, assignment, MT5 login, equity and history refresh, data isolation, collection with the app closed, UTC day rollover and disconnection handling. Even SMTP acceptance does not prove that an email arrived in a particular inbox. These are observable steps, not conclusions that can be drawn from simulated automated tests alone.
For now, interested readers can open the Challenge area, inspect their actual state and use the free tools to build a plan. Published terms will take priority over promises of returns or prizes. This is a dated status note: consult the current rules before making later decisions. Simulated trading; no guaranteed outcome.
