Best MT5 Trading Journals in 2026
Compare MT5 journals by connection method, trade reconstruction, review depth and total workflow.
Disciply is our product. We checked the cited official product pages; this comparison is not an independent review.
Not just a journal: markets, execution, risk and review in one workflow.
Disciply combines MT5 data, market tools, execution controls and behavioral analytics. The value is not one feature; it is the connection between context → decision → execution → journal → review.
Market workspace, charts, price alerts, Market Breakdown, calendar/context, Market Bias and volatility context available in the market workflow.
Group breakeven, profit protection, SL/TP management across multiple positions with preview and broker checks, plus partial close where supported.
Distribute limit orders inside a range while reviewing order count, size and total exposure before sending them to the connected account.
Sizing proposals using history, session, asset, current risk, exposure and broker volume specs; guardrails reduce size when conditions deteriorate.
Orders, protection and position management linked to the active account, with level, tick, minimum-distance/freeze checks and confirmation before execution.
Connection is more than a logo
Ask whether the journal reads closed deals, open positions, deposits, fees and partial closes. A CSV upload, a scheduled import and a live bridge create different review experiences. Check the broker and account server you actually use.
What to compare after import
Compare the reconstructed entry and exit, commissions, time zone, strategy notes and risk at entry. A clean equity curve can still hide a missed partial close. Export ten real trades, include a breakeven and a multi-fill position, and reconcile the totals.
Review loop
For discipline work, note whether you can record plan, emotion, rule break and follow-up. For analysis-heavy work, look for filters by setup, session and symbol. Keep execution in MT5 if a journal does not explicitly offer trading controls.
